On this page
Because Teen Patti Master is installed as an APK rather than from the Play Store, the usual safety net is missing. Nobody reviews the file before it reaches you, so a few checks of your own matter more than they would for an ordinary app. This page brings those checks together. For general questions about games, login and the law, see the main FAQ.
Safe install checklist
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Download from one known source and stick to it | Copies on mirror sites and forwards can be altered, and updates must come from the same source to install cleanly |
| The file is an APK of about 63.8 MB | v34.65 is 63.8 MB. A tiny file, a ZIP or a second "installer" app is not the real build |
| Let Play Protect scan it | It catches known malware. "Harmful app blocked" means delete the file |
| Allow "Install unknown apps" once, then switch it off | Leaving it on lets any download install silently later |
| Link a phone number in the app | Guest accounts can be lost for good if the app is removed |
Which permissions to allow
A card game needs very little from your phone. Use this as a guide when the app or your phone asks:
| Permission | Allow? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Notifications | Optional | Only for table invites and offers. Safe to refuse |
| Photos and media | Optional | Only to upload an avatar |
| SMS | No | OTP login works without it. Android can pass the code to the app without letting it read your messages |
| Contacts | No | A card game has no use for your address book |
| Accessibility | No | It lets an app read your screen and tap for you, including in banking apps |
| Install other apps | No | A game asking to install further apps is a warning sign |
| Location, camera, microphone | Usually no | Only if you knowingly use a feature such as voice chat |
You can change any of these later in Settings > Apps > Teen Patti Master > Permissions.
How to spot a fake APK
- The file or page says mod, hack, VIP, unlimited chips or prediction. Cards are dealt on the game server; no APK can change them.
- You are asked to pay, or to install another app, before the download.
- The icon or name changes after install, or the app disappears from your home screen.
- It asks you to log in on a web page, or for your UPI PIN at any point.
Our new version guide has more examples.
If something has gone wrong
- Shared an OTP or UPI PIN, or lost money: call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in straight away, then call your bank.
- Installed something suspicious: uninstall it, then check Settings > Security > Device admin apps and remove anything you do not recognise.
- Change passwords for email and any account you used while it was installed.
- Run a Play Protect scan from the Play Store menu.
Account recovery and support scams are covered in the login and account safety guide. Remember that online money games are banned in India under the 2025 Act, which leaves players with little protection if a withdrawal is refused.

Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if a Teen Patti Master APK is fake?
Check the size (v34.65 is 63.8 MB), the source, and what it asks for. Files labelled mod, hack or VIP, downloads that need payment or another app first, and any request for your UPI PIN are signs of a fake.
Does the app need SMS permission to read my OTP?
No. Android can pass a login code to an app without giving it access to your messages. Refuse SMS permission.
Play Protect warned me about the file. What should I do?
If it says "Harmful app blocked", delete the file and do not install it from anywhere else. Play Protect also shows general warnings for apps from outside the Play Store; read the exact message before you continue.
I shared my OTP with someone claiming to be support. What now?
Call 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in immediately, tell your bank, and log in to the app to check your account. Real support never asks for an OTP, UPI PIN or screen sharing.
