A withdrawal stuck on "pending" for days, a payout marked "success" that never reached your bank, or an account frozen with a balance in it: these are among the most common complaints from players since 2026. This page explains why they happen more often now and lists the steps that give you the best chance of getting your money, in the order to take them.
We are an independent guide. We cannot see, unblock or pay out any game account, and we will never ask for your details.
The short answer
- Stop adding money. Do not deposit more to "unlock" a withdrawal.
- Use only the app's own withdrawal and help screens. Numbers and agents found elsewhere are usually scammers.
- Never pay a fee, tax or "GST" to release a withdrawal. That is always a scam.
- Keep records of everything, then go to your bank or the cyber crime helpline (1930) if you were cheated.
Why withdrawals are stuck in 2026
- Online money games are banned. Since 1 May 2026, offering Teen Patti or any other game for real money in India has been illegal under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. Our legal explainer covers the details.
- Payment routes are being cut off. On 29 July 2026 the Online Gaming Authority of India told banks, payment apps and app stores to block payments for online money games. The bank accounts and payment gateways that apps used for payouts can close at any time.
- Apps still taking money are operating outside the law, often from abroad. Indian consumer protection rarely reaches them in practice.
- Some delays are ordinary. Bank holidays, KYC checks and wrong account details hold up withdrawals too, so check those first.
Check these first
| What you see | Possible reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Status says "processing" or "pending" | The app has not sent the money yet | Wait for the time the withdrawal screen states, then raise a ticket in the app's help section |
| Status says "success" but nothing reached your bank | The money left the app but is held by the bank or payment app, or went to the wrong account | Ask in-app support for the UTR or reference number and give it to your bank |
| Withdrawal "rejected" or "failed" | Bank details or name do not match your KYC, or the account was flagged | Check the account number, IFSC and name, then raise a ticket |
| Account blocked with a balance | The app has frozen the account | Ask in-app support in writing for the reason and keep the reply |
| App removed, site down or support silent | The operator may have stopped serving India | Keep your records and report it using the steps below |
Keep a record of everything
Whoever you complain to will ask for proof. Collect it now, before the app or account disappears:
- Screenshots of your balance, each withdrawal request and its status.
- Transaction IDs and UTR numbers for every deposit and withdrawal.
- Ticket numbers and screenshots of chats with in-app support.
- The matching lines from your bank or UPI statement.
Who can help
1. In-app support
Start with the help or customer service section inside the app. Send one clear message with your player ID, the withdrawal amount, date, status and screenshots. Our login and account safety guide explains how to tell real support from fake numbers.
2. Your bank or UPI app
Your bank can trace a payout marked "success" if you give it the UTR number. For any transaction you did not authorise, report it to your bank at once: under RBI rules, a customer has zero liability for an unauthorised electronic transaction caused by a third party if it is reported within three working days. Banks generally cannot reverse deposits you made yourself to a gaming app.
3. RBI Ombudsman
If your bank or payment app does not reply within 30 days, or rejects your complaint, you can complain to the RBI Ombudsman at cms.rbi.org.in. The Ombudsman handles complaints about banks and payment apps, not about game operators.
4. Cyber crime helpline: 1930
If you were cheated by fake support, a fake app, a "recovery" agent or a UPI request, call 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in straight away. The faster you report, the better the chance the money can be frozen before it moves on.
5. National Consumer Helpline: 1915
For a complaint against a business operating in India, call 1915 or register at consumerhelpline.gov.in. It has little reach over an offshore operator, but it creates an official record of your complaint.
Be realistic. An app that takes money for games banned in India is breaking the law, and players who deposited have little legal protection. Some players never get their balance back. That is the main reason we advise against adding money to any gaming app.
Withdrawal scams to avoid
People with stuck money are a favourite target. Walk away from anyone who:
- Asks for a "tax", "processing fee" or "GST" before releasing your withdrawal.
- Offers to recover your money for an upfront fee, often posing as a lawyer, agent or "cyber cell officer" on Telegram, Instagram or WhatsApp.
- Says you must upgrade to VIP or deposit again to unlock withdrawals.
- Sends a UPI request and asks for your PIN. You never enter a PIN to receive money.
- Gives a customer care number from Google or YouTube comments and then asks for your OTP or screen sharing.
Stop it happening again
- Do not add money to Teen Patti Master or any other gaming app. Free-chip tables are the legal way to play.
- Block gaming payments and set limits with the steps on our responsible gaming page.
- If your phone has a fake or modified copy of the app, our safety guide to fake APKs and scams explains how to remove it.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my Teen Patti Master withdrawal pending?
Common reasons are KYC checks, bank details that do not match, bank holidays, or the app's payment route being blocked since online money games were banned in India on 1 May 2026. Check your details, wait for the time the withdrawal screen states, then raise a ticket in the app.
My withdrawal shows success but the money did not arrive. What should I do?
Ask in-app support for the UTR or reference number and give it to your bank, which can trace where the payment went. Keep screenshots of the status screen and your bank statement.
Can I get my money back from Teen Patti Master?
Sometimes, through the app's own withdrawal screen while its payment route still works. Players who deposited into an app offering banned money games have little legal protection, so there is no guarantee.
Should I pay a fee to release my withdrawal?
No. Requests for a tax, processing fee or GST to release a withdrawal are scams. Report them on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
What is the Teen Patti Master customer care number?
Use the help or customer service section inside the app. Numbers found on Google, YouTube or social media are often run by scammers.
Can a recovery agent get my money back?
Treat any paid "recovery" offer as a scam. Real complaints to your bank, the RBI Ombudsman, 1930 and the National Consumer Helpline are free.
